“The Further Education and Training (FET) College subsystem has grown and changed over the last fifteen years, and further changes are anticipated with the move of the colleges to a national function. Challenging work lies ahead to make colleges institutions of choice for many more young people and adults.”
This extract from a media statement from Minister Blade Nzimande released on the 4th November 2009 indicates continuing change at FET Colleges. In regard to N4-N6, the official communication from the DOE over the past few years has been that N4-N6 Courses would be phased out. However, while the future of N4-N6 remains unclear, we sense a new beginning, which is why we have decided to take the opportunity to upgrade the quality of our best selling N4-N6 textbooks while retaining the same core content. The titles affected are:
- Communication N4
- Computer Practice N4
- Entrepreneurship N4 – N6
- Marketing Management N4 – N6
- Personnel Management N4 – N6
- Personnel Training N5 & N6
- Sales Management N5
- Marketing Communication N5
- Marketing Research N6
Our upgrading involves:
- The updating of content and case studies
- A more user-friendly layout and design
- Where appropriate, including the latest trends in technology
